Our Farm in Turkey

Nestled in the hills near Izmir, our family's olive groves have produced some of Turkey's finest olive oil for three generations.

The Land

Our groves are located in the Aegean region of Turkey, near the historic city of Izmir. This area has produced olive oil for thousands of years—the climate and soil are perfect for growing olives.

The mild Mediterranean climate, with warm dry summers and cool wet winters, creates ideal conditions for olive trees to thrive. Our trees are planted on hillsides, ensuring good drainage and sun exposure.

Our Olive Varieties

We primarily grow two traditional Turkish olive varieties:

  • Ayvalık — Prized for its fruity, balanced oil with notes of green apple and almond
  • Memecik — Produces intensely flavoured oil with a peppery finish

These heritage varieties have been cultivated in Turkey for centuries, and they're perfectly suited to our terroir.
