Terms and conditions

These terms apply when you buy from www.nifolia.com. Placing an order means you accept them. Delivery costs and returns are set out separately on the shipping and returns page.

Prices and payment

Currency and GST

All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where it applies. Delivery is charged separately and shown before you pay.

How you pay

Checkout is handled securely by Shopify and its payment providers. We never see or store your full card number. Payment is taken in full when you order.

Price changes

Prices can change, but never on an order already placed. If a price or product detail is listed in obvious error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than fulfil it.

Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. It becomes a contract when we send you a confirmation email. Until then we may decline it — most often because the batch has sold out.

Cancelling or changing an order

Email us as soon as you can. If it has not been dispatched we can change the address, swap the size or cancel and refund you in full. Once a parcel is with Australia Post we cannot recall it.

Availability

We press once a year, so quantities are genuinely finite. If we cannot fill your order we will tell you and refund it in full. We do not substitute a different product without asking first.

Where we deliver

Australia only. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Delivery timeframes are estimates from Australia Post, not guarantees.

The product

Nifolia is a single-variety Memecik extra virgin olive oil from one family grove in Çakırbeyli. It is an agricultural product from a single annual harvest, so colour, cloudiness and peppery intensity vary between batches and settle over time in the tin. That variation is normal and is not a fault.

Anything we publish about olive oil and health is general information drawn from published research. It is not medical advice and is not tailored to you.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

Nothing in these terms limits those guarantees. Where the law allows us to limit our liability, it is limited to replacing the goods or refunding what you paid.

Our content

The photographs, text and the Nifolia name belong to us. Please do not reuse them commercially without asking.

What we collect and who we share it with is set out in our privacy policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria have jurisdiction.

We may update these terms. The version published when you place your order is the one that applies to it.
